Here's the perfect pork-and-apple sausage for an easy and quick weeknight dinner. You can serve these on a bun, as a whole sausage, or sliced into medallions. They do best cooked more slowly over a little lower heat to avoid drying them out in their natural casing. Our family will usually throw them in the toaster oven (so we don't heat up the whole kitchen) while we cook our veggie sides. They have just a hint of sweetness.
